ABOUT US
IN 2019
Camaleão – Lisbon Music Studio is a professional Recording, production and rehearsal studio,
entirely built by hand and founded in 2019, just a few months before the pandemic began. With approximately 170 m² in total, it was created with a distinctive ecosystem in mind. Located in Penha de França, Lisbon, it operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and includes a control room, dining area, chill-out space, two recording/rehearsal/music production rooms, and one shared bathroom. Set in the heart of Lisbon's multicultural environment, the studio hosts projects from all musical genres and from countries all over the world — from emerging artists to internationally recognised names. Over time, artists from pop to jazz have passed through its doors, whether through individual projects or parallel collaborations.
Our positioning is simple:
we were not made to inflate the scenario, but to reinvest in it. We set out to build a space where musicians, producers, teachers and technical teams could work side by side, without social, economic or aesthetic barriers. Over the years, this has shaped Camaleão into a place of integration and creativity, welcoming projects from Brazil to Australia, and from countries such as Cabo Verde, Nepal and Japan.
More than a studio,
Camaleão is a meeting point where music happens in all its forms and expressions. This chameleon's habitat is youthful and distinctive, with every detail carefully considered so people feel at home, while maintaining a close and highly professional approach to the work delivered. This commitment has allowed us to support the birth and growth of emerging projects while simultaneously earning the trust of artists and organisations with strong national and international visibility.
